Peritoneal Dialysis University for Surgeons

The Society for Education and Research in Peritoneal Access Surgery (SERPAS) supports the wellbeing, autonomy, and therapeutic success of patients choosing Peritoneal Dialysis as Renal Replacement Therapy for End-Stage Renal Disease. The Society is also committed to furthering peritoneal access surgery in the management of all causes of ascites and to increasing the effectiveness of ventriculoperitoneal shunting procedures in the treatment of hydrocephalus.

The Society seeks to achieve these objectives through promotion of educational and research activities that provide valuable information to professional healthcare providers, advance the science of peritoneal access surgery, and encourage improvement of patient outcomes.
